چکیده
We examined the thin-film flow problem of a third-grade fluid on an inclined plane under fuzzy environment. The highly nonlinear governing differential equations (DEs) with boundary conditions are fuzzified using triangular numbers (TFNs) developed by α -cut id="M2"> ∈ open="[" close="]" 0,1 . perturbation (FPM) method is adopted to calculate form as well conditions. For validation, present work in good agreement compared existing literature crisp form. various values parameter id="M3"> λ , id="M4"> γ and id="M5"> presented graphical id="M6"> controls TFNs, variability uncertainty investigated membership function (MF). Film flow of a suspension down an inclined plane.
A method is developed for simulating the film flow of a suspension of rigid particles with arbitrary shapes down an inclined plane in the limit of vanishing Reynolds number. The problem is formulated in terms of a system of integral equations of the first and second kind for the free-surface velocity and the traction distribution along the particle surfaces involving the a priori unknown partic...
متن کاملInstabilities of Thin Viscous Liquid Film Flowing down a Uniformly Heated Inclined Plane
Instabilities of a thin viscous film flowing down a uniformly heated plane are investigated in this study. The heating generates a surface tension gradient that induces thermocapillary stresses on the free surface. Thus, the film is not only influenced by gravity and mean surface tension but also the thermocapillary force is acting on the free surface. Moreover, the heat transfer at the free su...

متن کاملOptimal Homotopy Asymptotic Solution for Thin Film Flow of a Third Grade Fluid with Partial Slip
The aim of this communication is to investigate thin film flow of an incompressible third grade fluid on an inclined plane with partial slip. The governing equations of this flow are nonlinear and solved for the velocity field using analytical method, name the optimal homotopy asymptotic method (OHAM). Results obtained by OHAM are compared with exact solution and a close agreement was found. Fi...
متن کاملThin Film Flow of a Third Grade Fluid with Variable Viscosity
The effects of variable viscosity on the flow and heat transfer in a thin film flow for a third grade fluid has been discussed. The thin film is considered on the outer side of an infinitely long vertical cylinder. The governing nonlinear differential equations of momentum and energy are solved analytically by using homotopy analysis method. The expression for the viscous dissipation and entrop...
